Is Blogging Only For Money?

When one gives a quick look at the articles written on blogging, the common theme seems to be making money from blogging. The authors invariably talk about adsense and how we can make money from blogs. Is blogging only for making money? Did blogs begin with that idea? Are we losing the direction somewhere?

blogging for money, make money blog, make money blogging, money blogging, paid blogging

A blog gives an opportunity to everyone to express himself/herself on the Internet. We feel that we are sharing our deepest thoughts with other members of the world. Blogging is bringing the world nearer to each other like never before. In certain cases, a blog is a great therapy for venting out anger, frustration and other negative feelings, which can otherwise damage the psyche. Blogging was never started with the object of making money on the Internet.

Imagine the scenario when the majority of blogs will somehow try to collect content from different sources and hope that their ad gets clicked. Is that not wasting of quality time? Will such blogs contribute to the Internet at all? Who will visit such blogs? Everyone is busy building a blog that makes money, so why should he/she visit other blogs?

A blog can contribute to very lively discussion. A blog can be a great platform to meet people and talk. A blog is a great way to help budding talents show case their work to the world. Let us not make blogs only as a money making tool.

Huge City

Content by Sol Rosales

Jacksonville is such a large city that I had a hard time deciding what neighborhood I wanted to buy my house in. I was torn between a neighborhood that is close to my work, and living closer to the beach. I didn’t want to have a long commute, but I wanted to live in a place I would enjoy socially as well. I finally decided I was going to go with the house near the beach, and my offer was accepted. I’m sure the commute will get annoying, but I think that I will enjoy the beach so much. I have to start getting ready for the move now that the house is going to be mine shortly. My dad says that Home security Jacksonville style is to buy a gun. I’m not sure I want to go that far, but I might get an alarm installed. I also have to buy some new furniture to fill the space. It is so much bigger than my current apartment. I’m excited for the new adventure of home ownership to begin.

Learning And Hobbies

Learning is a process through which we strive to imbue into our minds something worth remembering. The process of learning must not be done only in an institution. We learn everyday and anywhere. Not every type of learning can be committed to memory. What we can commit to memory are those things that will one day have a positive impact on our lives, our finances, our wealth and those of others. There are two type of learning processes that we can commit to memory.

studying, learning, hobbies,math exam

The learning that can amount to entertainment is domestic training, but we hardly ever know this. There are times when we get ourselves and or our children involved in craft making or gardening as a hobby. We should bear in mind that this is or ought to be more than a leisure or pastime. We must put in more of our efforts in order to make this activity impressive. Invest your leisure time in gardening or horticulture. However, plant only those crops that can be of money-making importance to you or that can add up to the splendor of your surroundings. It may also be worthy to plant vegetables and other items that can serve as a supply to your kitchen. You are not only making the most out of your leisure time, but you are saving by avoiding the grocery store at every instance. You can as well plant flowers, trees or mend the already existing ones. Keep the lawns and flower beds clean. This is an activity that impacts on the memory of others. It tells of how you are and will always be. The love of flowers and nature can also tell of your personality. The flowers and trees you plant will always be there when you are gone. They will remind its onlookers of you.

Hobbies are activities that we carry out as pastime and not for our normal business. We also learn from our hobbies and we can equally make these pastimes worthy of note. Your hobby may be listening to a particular broadcast over the radio or watching a favorite programme. It is simple. Why not walk to the radio or TV station and give your own point of view. Give suggestions and propose how your think the programme or show might run. From this, you start up a forum for, let's say, a debate. This will constitute a type of entertainment that will not only amuse the public, but tend to educate them.

With such an idea conceived, people tend never to forget such programmes. You can equally set up something similar in your church such as sensitizing maybe the youths about a particular issue. Get down to work and at least for once, make an entertainment programme that will be worth remembering.

Construction Industry

Guest post from: Kent Lara

Due to some recent mysterious disappearing of tools around my shop I have decided to install security cameras and a security system. I went to www.homesecuritysystems.com and found a great deal. The staff was very insightful and helped me chose the system that was right for me. Now that my employees know they are being watched, I hope no more of my equipment gets taken. I don't have a problem in the world loaning the people who work for me anything. I just can't beleive that someone would take something from me without asking first. Business has been picking up slightly in the construction industry as of late. I hope that this is a good sign that the economy is turning around. I have been blessed in the fact that I have had enough work to keep me busy. I remember the days when I used to have to turn down work because I was so busy. It has been years since the industry was that way though, but I am hoping that those times return.

Writing a Diary

A diary is a key to the soul of a person filled with private thoughts and ideas that they rarely share with anyone. Many people find that writing in a diary helps them to be able to get through their feelings. It is a type of therapy that they rely upon in order to benefit from emotionally. It can help them to heal and it can help them to work through their problems on paper.

Many people have written down information about what is going on in history in their diaries as well. It is from them that historians have been able to gather so much information. There are diaries that talk about the life of being a slave, of a women during times when they weren’t allowed to have any rights, about being an Indian as the white men came into their world.

US Immigration Visa Greencard Guide

Many diaries have been able to offer an chronology of wars and even the Great Depression. During their writing these people never thought that they would be helping the rest of the world to be able to benefit from them. There are stories about those that served in war and what they saw each day. These can be frightening and vivid entries that really bring home what it meant to fight for the freedom of the country.

There are well known diaries from Presidents out there as well. On the exterior they appear to be cool and confident. However an inside look at their diary entries means that they were human as well. They had doubts and they worried about their families as well as the rest of society. President Lincoln knew his life was at risk in the weeks before he was killed according to the entries in his diary.

Many of these diaries become known publicly due to the families of the deceased. They want to be able to share all they learned from those writings. There are various procedures that take place to verify that a diary is indeed authentic and original. Some have been very good imitations and fakes but proven not to be legitimate works from those that they are claimed to be from.

FIXING MY PHONE

Thanks for the post from Barney Crosby

I have been using my New Haven internet connection a lot more than I used to. A couple of weeks ago, we went to visit my sister in Virginia. She has always been up with technology and knows the latest and greatest things on-line and with computers. She showed me this really cool website that she had discovered. It was called Pintrest. It is basically like a free on-line pin board. You can paste things that you see on the internet into different categories on-line. It is a good way to keep all of your thoughts and ideas together. I had never seen anything like it. There are pieces of magazines and recipe print outs scattered all over my house. While I was there, I played with the site and loved it. My sister e-mailed me an invitation and I joined immediately. Now, I have been pinning things all time. I have actually come a pretty long way in three weeks—two hundred pins! My sister has over a thousand pins, but she has been at it a lot longer than I have!

Easy Blogging Move

If your blog attracts many readers, you may want to think about moving your site. Many people think that a blog that is hosted by a free blogging web site has a kind of amateur flavor, not appropriate for a high-profile blog. Your own domain name can help you make your blog feel professional, and finding a webhost is not difficult or expensive. Once your blog starts to attract a large readership, you will probably be able to sell enough advertising space to be able to afford to buy your own domain and pay for a hosting package, and still have money left over. However, until you have a sizeable readership, there’s really no need to invest in these luxuries.

When you want to build a following before you spend any money on your blog, using a free blogging website is a good idea. Later, when you feel ready to take the next step and pay for your own domain and maybe invest in Search Engine Optimization too. Your readers will follow you to your new home.

Using A Free Blogging Web Site

When you’re new to blogging, a free blogging web site is a good way to get started. Popular blogging web sites like Blogger and Eponym allow users to set up and host a blog for no cost at all. The fact that one of these sites can provide you with all of the tools that you need to get your blog up and running for free, encourages people to start a blog. As it’s free, you don’t have anything to lose. Many people that have never had any other kind of web presence before find themselves drawn to blogging, partly because it is so easy to find a way to blog for free.

Compared to starting your own blog from scratch, signing up with a free blogging web site will get you listed in search engines much easier. For example, Google, that runs the free blog hosting site Blogspot, crawls its pages very often to look for updates. As a result, if you have a Blogspot blog, you are almost guaranteed to be listed on Google's blog search engine. This way you can spend less time on promoting your blog, and you can gain a following with a minimum of marketing effort.

Coupon Cutter

Written by my friend Betty Walls Ever since I was laid off from my job last August, it’s been very hard to make ends meet. It seems like all I do lately is cut coupons and comb through clearance racks. I’m so thankful that we haven’t lost our house or our spirits, but it has certainly meant cutting back in a lot of areas of our lives. We no longer go out to eat- even on special occasions we only go out if I find a great deal somewhere. So when I was looking at different options for our television programming, I almost just cancelled our subscription to everything and sold our TV. However, my husband is still employed, so I looked for another good deal to keep our TV up and running. I think it’s important for our kids to have access to the world, and so I looked for a package that included the internet and television. I found a great deal at http://www.tvbydirect.com/directv-deal/Grand-Rapids-MICHIGAN-MI-direct-tv.html, and have been very pleased with our subscription. I’m so glad that this coupon cutter found another way around disparity!

Found out we're pregnant

Thanks to Lemuel Craft

My husband and I are going to be parents!! We have been trying for a very long time and were starting to think we were never going to have a child. However, last week we found out we will be proud parents in a little less than nine months. My first reaction was excitement. I do not think I have been so excited in my entire life. Then the paranoia set in. The house was not ready for a baby. There were too many sharp edges. There were too many breakable items. We needed to make the house as secure as possible. I even decided I wanted Kansas City adt SECURITY. I started wondering if I was suitable to be a mother. I honestly started to doubt everything. I am guessing it was the hormones or the realization that something big was about to happen. Either way, I was a mess. I felt like I needed someone to slap me to bring me back to reality. However, my husband did something even better. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and then held me. He assured me we would do it all together and everything would be fine and I believe him.

Me and Him

Contributed by Johnny Graves

My husband and I have both vowed to lose a little weight and it’s been quite a challenge! I’m really glad I’ve got a partner in this though and he really helps keep me accountable when it comes to eating right and making sure I exercise. I love how dedicated he is even when I’m not and I rely on him totally to help keep us on track. He got us direc4u satellite tv and we’ve been waching some of the work out programs together and I’ve been making a special effort to prepare us meals that are both healthy and delicious. I know it’s been a lot of fun cooking more than ever and I think my husband appreciates coming home to a real dinner instead of some take out boxes! I’m really in this thing to lose it and I know he is too so we’ll have to see in a few months when we weigh how well the whole thing actually worked. Cross your fingers and toes for us and our weight loss!

Desktop Computer

What kind of computer do you own? There are dozens of choices when it comes to selecting and buying a computer that works best for you. Not only that you have to decide between desktop computers and laptops or the notebooks, but you will also need to find out which one has the features that will greatly suit your needs. With the rapid change of technology these days, the choices are more larger and can be little difficult.

It is not long ago when not so many people would even consider the use of notebooks as their main computers. That is because when laptops are compared with desktops, they did not posses a much RAM, evidently smalle and had less than the crisp displays compared to desktops. Laptops then did not have the cool features like DVD players and the multiple USB ports.

But these days, the LCD monitors of notebook displays are brighter, and there exist the use of multiple ports which helps hooking up with printers easily. It is no longer important to even worry that the software will fall short and overload the hard drive or the performance will slow down because laptops now have bigger hard drives and greater RAM. However, laptops are still not the more powerful and better for everyone. For most people, especially those who work from home and regularly use a computer, still want a computer desktop since it has bigger displays, the traditional keyboards that most people are used to and the mice. Not to mention the more versatility or extra usage that the desktops offers (burn a DVD, extra USB ports, use of webcam, greater resolution LCD monitor, maybe surround audio speaker too.)

Prior to you making a decision on buying computers, it is important to understand what is available in the market, what type of functioning program you would like, and which characteristics are important for you. Whenever you do, you'll realize that you are paying for only what you'll need, and can finish up owning the laptop desktop that's ideal for you as well as your household.

Feels Like Home

Guest post written by Joseph Finch

When my son and I moved into this new house a few months back I knew I had to do something to make him feel more at home. He was really missing his friends back in Akron and because of my new job he was home a lot by himself after school but I didn’t really have a choice. I went to http://EXPERTSATELLITE.COM and found a good satellite plan for us and my son’s been having a ball watching movies on TV before I get home. He’s always said he wanted to do something with film and I think he’d be great at it so it’s nice to see him spending his time studying some of the great old classics. I know he gets a kick out of it and it’s better than him being out and about running amok in the neighborhood so it’s fine by me! He seems to be getting used to it here and hopefully it won’t be long before he totally feels at home in our new place. I know I’m starting to!

The Job

Contribution by Archie Watts.

"The Job" is one of my favorite episodes from "The Office" and easily the best season finale the show has ever produced. The circumstances surrounding the episode involve a job being offered at corporate headquarters that Michael, Jim and Karen, among others, are vying for. The position offered (regional manager) is actually the one held by Michael's girlfriend, Jan, causing a commotion when Michael reveals this fact to her. This plot line wasn't as interesting as the two moments that resulted from it. The first being Jim rejecting both the job and breaking up with Karen in order to be with Pam who had been the object of his affection since the very beginning. I thought Jenna Fischer really did a good job acting out Pam's reacti! on to having Jim return to the branch and asking her out on a date. The second moment was more of the "Where did that come from?" variety when we found out that the temp, Ryan, somehow gets the job.

For me, the funniest parts of this episode is when Michael appoints Dwight his successor and he proceeds to reign over the branch with Pam as his secret assistant. I loved the part in the meeting where Dwight winks at her when Pam makes a suggestion that was really Dwight's idea. I've seen this episode at least five times on satellite TV from Cannonsatellite.com and it never gets old.
